Lifeguard Health Inc. ("us", "we", or "our") operates the LifeguardPortal and all associated Lifeguard products (the "Services"). This Privacy Policy summarizes how we collect, use, and disclose information ("Data") associated with your use of the Services, and the choices you have regarding that Data. By using any Lifeguard Service, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of Data in accordance with this policy. Where required, informed consent will be obtained prior to collecting your information, and additional details will be provided at that time. This policy is adopted to comply with all applicable laws in jurisdictions where Lifeguard Digital Health Inc. operates, currently including British Columbia and Ontario.
Types of Data Collected
When you use our Services, we collect the following types of data: "Personal Data" — Information used to identify you, such as your name, alias, phone number, and email address, provided voluntarily when you use our Services. We rely on you to ensure this information is accurate, complete, and current. "Usage Data" — Information automatically collected about how you use our Services, including your IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, time and date of visits, time spent on pages, and device identifiers. On mobile devices, this may also include device type, mobile OS, browser type, and unique device identifiers.
Cookies
Cookies are small files created when you visit a website that can track how and when you use a site. Cookies cannot run programs or deliver viruses to your device. We use session cookies, which are stored in temporary memory and are deleted when you sign out or close your browser — they are not retained between sessions. Web Analytics
We conduct internal analytics and use Google Analytics — a third-party service — to analyze Usage Data for the purpose of improving our Services. No IP addresses are collected as part of our internal analytics. Google Analytics assigns anonymous user IDs to associate usage patterns without directly identifying individuals.

By using our Services, you agree that your Data may be transferred to and processed in locations outside Canada, including the United States, where our third-party service providers may be located — unless a legal or regulatory requirement mandates that data remain within Canada. Lifeguard Health Inc. takes all reasonably necessary steps to ensure your Data is handled securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Data held by third-party platforms may be subject to access by law enforcement authorities in their respective jurisdictions. You may discontinue use of our Services at any time. Data already collected will be retained only as long as necessary to fulfill its intended purposes, or as required by law.
Disclosure of Data
The Lifeguard App does not collect any user data without explicit consent. Data collected — including Name, Phone Number, Emergency Contact Name, Emergency Contact Phone Number, and Location — is stored natively on your device and is not shared with any party, including Lifeguard Digital Health, except: • To provide emergency services when you are unable to respond to a timer alarm — in which case data will be shared with Emergency Health Services and retained per their standard policy • To prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Services • To comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, or legal processes We will not share your Data for any other purpose without your prior consent.
Security of Data
We take the security of your Data seriously and have implemented reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect it from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your Data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your data has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites not operated by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18 ("Child" or "Children") without parental or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us at technicalsupport@lifeguarddh.com and we will take prompt steps to delete that information.
